THE
IMPORTANT OF READING AND UNDERSTANDING THE QUR’AN

Every believer is certainly already
familiar with this one thing, in particular Muslims. Especially, each letter read
it would be reward with ten rewards. The Qur’an is the word sent down by Allah
through the Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad saw. The Qur’an is the book a
complement to the books of the past such as the Torah, Gospel, Zabur, and the
books of other. The Qur’an is a guideline, concepts, as well as the rules of
life for human, as is known by all Muslims in this world. All questions and
problems that occur listed in this book.
More than that, by reading the
Qur’an and followed by the correct understanding, it is expected that the
growing conviction of the truth of the Qur’an. Likewise, anyone who listens to
the recitation of al-Qur’an will be judge like the people who read al-Qur’an
(Samsul Ulum, 2007). So the magnitude of the value of the benefits obtained from
the people who read and study the Qur’an.
Without we realize that by reading
the Qur’an it can make our heart calm, relax, reduce emotions when we are
angry, and much more. Also can reduce the feeling of hunger in the stomach, it
can I feel as I am in boarding school by parents. Nevertheless, the problem for
these moments that I feel around my neighbourhood is lazy to read this book.
The parents just more concerned subjects in the school without considering the
lesson in the field of spiritual. In addition, what is worse, the parents do
not direct children to learn the Qur’an.
In fact a command from Allah that
the first time is for read. Reading is very easy for those who want to can and
be patient in the process. However, Allah will not let His servants who are
seeking knowledge and a better yet is to secure it even though just one paragraph.
Moreover, the Qur’an can lead us to His paradise. The Qur’an is not just for
the sake of the world but rather as a provision for us to get His paradise.
Would be much better if the reading
Qur’an can understand the content of each verse in the Qur’an that himself and
at the same time practice in everyday life. However, the majority of the people
around me can read it and not know what the content of the verses of the Qur’an
they read. They say that is enough. But, I think it’s not enough. Why? Because
I think by knowing and understanding the contents of the content of the verse,
we can know that it turned out the problem faced or the number of phenomena
that will or have already happened in the now and in the future, this is already explain in the Qur’an.
For example, is about the day of
vengeance. Stated in Surah al-ghashiyah which means the Overwhelming Event. Consists
of 26 verses and revealed in the city of Makah. Which is reads:
1. Has
the story reached thee, of the overwhelming (Event)?
2. Some
faces, that Day, will be humiliated,
3. Labouring
(hard), weary,
4. the
while they enter the Blazing Fire,
5. The
while they are given, to drink, of a boiling hot spring.
6. No food will there be
for them but a bitter
7. Which
neither nourishes nor avails against hunger.
8. (Other)
faces, that Day, will show pleasure.
9. With
their effort (they are) satisfied
10. In
an elevated garden,
11. Wherein
they will hear no
unsuitable speech.
12. Within
it is a flowing spring.
13. Within
it are couches raised high
14. And
cups put in place
15. And
cushions lined up
16. And
carpets spread around.
17. Then
do they not look at the camels – how they are created?
18. And
at the sky – how it is raised?
19. And
at the mountains – how they are erected?
20. And
at the earth – how it is spread out?
21. So
remind, (O Muhammad); you are only a reminder.
22. You
are not over them a controller.
23. However,
he who turns away and disbelieves –
24. Then
Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.
25. Indeed, to Us is their return.
26. Then
indeed, upon Us is their account.
Hopefully, we are always given
the ease by God. Be able to read and understand of the Qur’an. And also able to
bring people around to the good. Aamiiin :)
